Room 24 is based in Kier Hardie Health Centre, Aberdare Road, Merthyr Tydfil  CF48 1BZ  Tel: 01685 351021 

“Room 24” is Merthyr Tydfil’s foremost accessibility centre located in Kier Hardy Health Centre, Georgetown. Close to the Cyfartha Retail Park and on the Aberdare and Heolgerrig Bus Routes both in and out of town.

It is a demonstration centre for people of all disabilities, particularly sight loss and hearing. It covers disabled access and facilities in all areas of the home including kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge. Many aids for these areas can be demonstrated.

Equipment on display includes telephones, all types of magnifiers including electronic. Kitchen aids including many high visibility items.  Helping towards living independent lives.

Please come along and you are sure to find something useful. Appointments can be made to visit most days between 10AM and 3PM  by ringing reception on 01685 351021 quoting Room 24.
